Mother’s Day is hard for me

I had a miscarriage

I had an abortion

I wanted them both

Circumstances, finances, and mental health prevented their reality and I miss them

when they started growing I gave them my heart

My energy

My whole self

And when they left I did not know what to do with that energy.

I do not want to say these words out loud but they are true. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers who lost their babies.
