The Air thickened as he began to take a breath

Unable to catch it, he gasped scratching and ripping at his throat

finding purchase where his gills closed.

His eyes followed suit

puffed cheeks destroyed air particles, as they battered them with thoughts.

All at once he fell

realizing to not let go, made it impossible to hold on

he took a breath
